The Program

Our program, the “Be a Zero Hero” Initiative, is a supplemental recycling program designed to reduce the pressing issue of plastic bags and film waste in our communities. Despite making up a large part of plastic waste, these items are not included in Montgomery County’s recycling system.

Our Mission

To minimize the impact of environmental pollution caused by poor recycling practices by empowering everyone in the community to take meaningful action toward building a sustainable future.

Our Vision

A team of student voluteers and their families, we aim to engage the community, schools, and institutions to help protect the environment, to foster students' egos in serving the society, and to practice their leadership skills.
